Inqo Privacy Policy
Last updated:
This privacy policy applies to the Inqo AI – Chatbot & Assistant mobile application (package com.zoombilisim.inqo, “Inqo” or “the app”) published by ZOOM BILISIM BILGISAYAR REKLAMCILIK ITHALAT IHRACAT SANAYI TICARET LIMITED SIRKETI (“Zoom Bilişim”, “we”), Barbaros Mahallesi, 5301-2 Sokak, No: 4-1-233, Bornova, 35260 İzmir, Türkiye. Contact: [email protected]. Inqo is listed on Google Play under the developer name “Ermano HERMES”.
In short: there is no sign-up. Your chat history stays on your phone. To answer you, the message you send is passed through our server to an AI model provider; our server does not keep what you wrote. The free version shows rewarded video ads from Google AdMob only when you choose to watch one.
Your anonymous account
You never create a username, email or password. On first launch the app creates an anonymous account tied to a device identifier (Android ID), so your message balance and purchases survive a reinstall. On our server we keep: the anonymous account ID, a hash of the device identifier, the app version, your interface language, your message balance and its history (daily allowance, rewarded ads, message packs), the status of any Premium subscription, and when the app was last used.
Your conversations
Your chat history is stored only on your device.
When you send a message, the text of the current conversation — and any photo or voice message you attach, or share to Inqo from another app — is sent over an encrypted connection to our server and forwarded to a third-party AI model provider to generate the answer. If you fill in Settings → About me (a name, a few lines about yourself, how you like answers), that text is stored on your device and sent along with your messages so answers fit you; you can edit or switch it off at any time.
Our server does not store the content of your messages, attachments or “About me”. It records only usage metadata — which assistant was used, how many tokens a reply took, response time and errors — for limits, abuse prevention and service quality. The AI model provider processes the content only to produce the reply, under its own terms.
Incognito chats are kept in memory only: they are not saved to the history on your device and are deleted, together with their photos, when you leave the chat. “About me” is not sent in incognito chats.
Features that stay on your device
- App lock uses your phone’s own fingerprint, face or screen lock; Inqo never sees or stores biometric data.
- Morning reminders are local notifications scheduled on your phone; no push service is used.
- Your daily streak is counted on the device. The fact of the day is the same for everyone and is requested without personal data.
- Camera and microphone are used only when you tap the camera or microphone button. Voice dictation uses your phone’s speech recognition service.
Reports
You can report any answer, and the fact of the day, from inside the app. When you do, we store the reported text, its message ID, which assistant wrote it, the reason you picked, your optional note and the time, so we can review it and make the assistants safer. Nothing else from the conversation is sent.
Advertising
The free version offers rewarded video ads from Google AdMob: you can watch one to get extra messages. There are no banner ads. To serve and measure ads, Google may process your device’s advertising identifier, IP address, approximate location derived from it, device and app information, and ad interaction data — see the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland the app asks for your consent before ads are personalized. In US states with privacy laws you can opt out of the sale or sharing of your data. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy options, and reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings. When you finish a rewarded ad, Google confirms it to our server with your anonymous account ID and a transaction ID so the messages can be added.
Purchases
Inqo Premium subscriptions and message packs are processed by Google Play Billing. We do not receive your payment details; Google gives us a purchase token that we use to check the subscription or to add a pack’s messages to your account.
Who we share data with
- AI model providers, to generate answers to the messages you send (content only, without your device identifier).
- Google (AdMob, Google Play), as described above.
We do not sell your personal data and do not use your conversations for advertising.
Keeping and deleting data
You can delete your account and all data on our server at any time in Settings → Delete account; see Deleting your account. Chats can be removed from the phone with Settings → Delete all chats or by uninstalling the app. Usage metadata is kept for up to 12 months and report records for up to 24 months.
Children
Inqo is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Security
All traffic between the app and our server is encrypted (HTTPS). Access to the server is restricted, and backups are stored securely.
Your rights
Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and, where applicable, the GDPR and US state privacy laws, you may request access to, correction of or deletion of personal data we hold. Because accounts are anonymous, the quickest way is Settings → Delete account; for anything else, email [email protected].
Changes
We may update this policy; the date above shows the latest revision. Material changes will be announced in the app or on this page.
