Luna Privacy Policy
Last updated:
This privacy policy applies to the Luna: Sleep & Relax mobile application (app ID com.lunasleep.luna, “Luna” or “the app”) published by ZOOM BILISIM BILGISAYAR REKLAMCILIK ITHALAT IHRACAT SANAYI TICARET LIMITED SIRKETI (“Zoom Bilişim”, “we”), Barbaros Mahallesi, 5301-2 Sokak, No: 4-1-233, Bornova, 35260 İzmir, Türkiye. Contact: [email protected].
In short: Luna has no account and no server. It collects, sends and shares no personal data, and it has no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Buying or restoring Premium goes through the App Store.
What stays on your device
Everything Luna stores stays only on your phone: the sleep records it reads, the scores and summaries it works out, your check-ins and naps, your sleep schedule and goal, the optional name you can enter for the greeting, and your settings. Luna has no servers and no user accounts; reminders and the alarm are scheduled on the phone itself.
Luna keeps its data out of iCloud Backup and computer backups of your iPhone, so it stays on this phone only. The one exception is the date your free trial began, which Luna keeps in the iPhone’s Keychain so that reinstalling the app doesn’t restart the trial; it holds no health data.
Apple Health and Health Connect
With your permission, Luna reads only these from Apple Health (on Android: Health Connect): sleep records and sleep stages, heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability and respiratory rate. This data is processed and stored only on your phone, is never sent anywhere, and is never used for advertising or marketing or shared with anyone. Luna does not write any data to Apple Health or Health Connect.
You can change or remove Luna’s access at any time: on iPhone in the Health app (tap your profile picture → Apps → Luna), on Android in Health Connect’s app permissions. In Luna, Profile → Privacy & data → Disconnect Health stops reading.
Data we do not collect
We receive no personal information from Luna: no name, email address, contacts, location, photos, health data, device identifiers or usage data. Luna contains no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting code and does not track you across apps or websites.
If you have chosen in your iPhone’s settings to share analytics with app developers (Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements), Apple may share anonymous crash reports and usage statistics about Luna with us. This is controlled by Apple and by you, and you can turn it off there at any time.
Purchases
Luna Premium is an auto-renewable subscription bought through Apple’s App Store (on Android: Google Play). The store processes the payment under its own privacy policy (Apple, Google); your payment details and your Apple Account never reach Luna or us. On the phone, Luna only checks with the store whether your subscription is active and keeps that answer on the device.
Children
Luna is rated 13+ on the App Store and is not directed at children under 13. Because Luna collects no personal data, it collects none from children either.
Your rights
Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and, where applicable, the GDPR, you may request information about, correction of or deletion of personal data we hold about you. We hold no personal data from Luna: everything Luna keeps is on your device and under your control (see below). For any question or request, email [email protected].
Deleting your data
In Luna, open Profile → Privacy & data → Delete my Luna data to delete your sleep records, scores, check-ins and settings from the phone; this cannot be undone. So that the free trial does not start again, Luna keeps only the trial’s start date, whether you were told it ended, and the subscription’s last known state. On iPhone the trial’s start date is also kept in the iPhone’s Keychain, which stays even after the app is deleted.
Deleting the app removes all other Luna data from the phone. Your data in Apple Health or Health Connect is not affected.
Changes
We may update this policy; the date above shows the latest revision. Material changes will be announced on this page and, where appropriate, in an app update.
