HourTrove Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the HourTrove mobile application (package com.hourtrove.app, “the app”) published by ZOOM BILISIM BILGISAYAR REKLAMCILIK ITHALAT IHRACAT SANAYI TICARET LIMITED SIRKETI (“Zoom Bilişim”, “we”), Barbaros Mahallesi, 5301-2 Sokak, No: 4-1-233, Bornova, 35260 İzmir, Türkiye. In short: Your work, pay, payment, Planner and note records stay on your phone. HourTrove has no account and no server for your records, and on Android the app does not have the permission to use the internet.

What the app stores on your device

Work profiles, shifts, hourly rates, overtime rules, payments you record, additional earnings, schedules, Calendar plans, Planner tasks, Timers, notes and your preferences are stored only on your device, in the app’s private storage. We do not receive them and cannot read them.

These records are excluded from your phone’s automatic system backup. If you lose or replace your phone, they cannot be recovered unless you have saved your own backup file.

Backup files you save

If you use Save Backup File, the app creates one file encrypted with a password you choose (Argon2id and AES-256-GCM) and saves it where you pick, for example on your phone or in Google Drive. That location is your choice and is governed by the terms of its provider. We do not receive the file or the password, and we cannot recover a forgotten password. HourTrove does not upload or sync the file by itself.

The small unencrypted part of the file contains the date, the app version and record counts, such as the number of shifts. It does not contain names, amounts or notes.

Subscription

Purchases are processed by Google Play. We do not receive your payment details. On your device, the app asks Google Play whether your subscription is active. Google’s processing is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. Your subscription is separate from your work records and never appears in them.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled on your phone, using its system notifications. No notification content passes through us. You can turn them off in the app or in your phone’s settings.

Data we do not collect

We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, location, photos, pay or work records through the app. The app contains no ads, analytics or tracking.

Links that leave the app

Help, Terms and this policy open in your browser. If you choose Contact Support or Report a Problem, your email app opens a draft to us. Report a Problem adds only the app version and Android version; you decide whether to send it. What you send by email is processed to answer you.

Deleting your data

Delete All Local Records in Settings > Privacy & Data permanently removes your records from the app on this phone, including the protected copy kept before a restore. Your language choice stays. Uninstalling the app also removes them. Backup files you saved elsewhere are under your control; we cannot reach or delete them. Deleting records does not cancel a subscription.

Children

The app is intended for people who work and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and, where applicable, the GDPR, you may request information about, correction of or deletion of personal data we hold. The app itself stores nothing on our side, so such requests usually concern emails you sent us. Write to [email protected].

Changes

We may update this policy; the date above shows the latest revision. Material changes will be announced in the app or on this page.
