Frequently asked questions

Is Harvest Hen free?

Yes. There are no in-app purchases. Optional rewarded ads give bonuses, such as doubling your offline earnings, only when you choose to watch one.

Do I need an account or internet?

No. The game plays offline and your progress is saved on your phone. The leaderboard needs an internet connection and a Google Play Games profile.

How does the weekly competition work?

Sign in with Google Play Games and your gold earned this week is ranked against other players. The weekly leaderboard starts over every Sunday (Pacific time); the all-time leaderboard ranks total gold earned.

I changed phones. Can I keep my farm?

Your farm is saved on the device and included in Android's own device backup when that is turned on. Restore your backup on the new phone before opening the game.

Something not working?

  • your phone model and its Android version (Settings → About phone),
  • the game’s version (at the bottom of Harvest Hen’s Settings),
  • what you did right before the problem; screenshots help.

Rewarded ads

  • Ads are optional: a video plays only when you tap a “Watch ad” button. You get the reward after watching to the end.
  • Each reward has a daily limit (for example, Super Fertilizer up to 6 times a day). If a button says the limit is reached, it resets the next day.
  • “Ad is loading…” means no ad is ready yet; check your internet connection and try again in a moment.
  • To change your ad consent, open Settings → Privacy options (shown in regions where it is required).

Leaderboards

  • Sign in with Google Play Games from the leaderboard screen to join. Your Play Games name and scores are then visible to other players.
  • The weekly leaderboard ranks gold earned this week and starts over every Sunday at 00:00 Pacific time; the all-time leaderboard ranks total gold earned.
  • Scores are sent every couple of minutes while you play and when you leave the game, so a new score may take a moment to appear.

Keeping your farm

Your farm is saved on your phone, not in an account. When you move to a new phone, turn on Android’s device backup and restore it on the new phone before opening the game. Uninstalling the game deletes the farm.
